About us
An opportunity has arisen within the Council’s Refuse and Recycling Collection Service for the recruitment of 6x team leader post based at Woolston Depot. The posts are fixed term until 05 December 2025.
We are committed to delivering a high quality service to our residents and are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic team member to work with us to achieve our aims.
The role
The successful applicant will be expected to be flexible and prepared to work across the whole range of services we provide including domestic, recyclable and green waste collections.
Operational hours of work are for 37 hours per week over a 4 day working week Tuesday to Friday 6.30am to 4.15pm. The hours available are for a full day shift within the operating days and times shown however; participation in overtime working is expected in order to meet the needs of the service as and when required by management.
What’s needed?
Applicants are required to hold a valid, clean category C class licence and Driver’s Certificate of Professional Competence qualification card (Min 1 year).
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
