The role is required from September 2026. The Governors of Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, dedicated and caring Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our happy and hardworking team. The role is initially a one year fixed term contract with an extension possible. The successful candidate will be required to work 30 hours per week, 08:30 to 15:30 Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will work with groups of children within the class setting as well as deliver learning programmes tailored to individual pupil's needs. Duties will also include teaching whole classes and covering short-term teacher absence under the direction and instruction of the class teacher. Experience of working in both Key Stages would be an advantage but is not essential.

- Preferably has experience supporting children with SEND
- Uses initiative while also responding well to direction from the class teacher
- Engages in aspects of wider school life
- Brings a good sense of humour and a positive attitude to school life
