An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and customer focused professional to join our Local Taxation Team. Under the direct supervision of the Local Taxation Team Leader, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the provision of high-quality, cost-efficient services within the Benefits and Exchequer Services division.
This position plays a vital role in ensuring the accurate billing and collection of Business Rates, in line with Government legislation and Council policies. You will carry out a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to support the Local Taxation team, including the precise processing of data related to Business Rates accounts.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for responding to customer enquiries in a courteous and professional manner, both in writing and over the phone. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal departments and external partners to resolve queries promptly, maintain accurate records, and ensure adherence to relevant legislation and procedures.
