We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work as part of our friendly team at Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHSFT.

Main duties:

  • Support the cardiac doctors with pacemaker implants.
  • Perform pacemaker follow-ups and monitor haemodynamics during cardiac catheterization procedures.
  • Carry out routine non-invasive cardio-respiratory tests.
  • Complete an intense Cardiac Device Training Programme and achieve BHRS (or equivalent) accreditation (if not already started).
  • Maintain CPD and stay current with developments in the field of Cardiology.

Person Specification:

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree and AHCS registration.
  • Basic Brady Pacing experience.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Competent in routine non-invasive cardio-respiratory tests.
  • Monitoring haemodynamics during Cardiac Angiograms.

Physical skills:

  • Evidence of excellent communication and leadership.
  • Competent in analysis.
