Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Administrator to join our friendly team at our Rugby site on a full‑time permanent basis.
Salary: £30,000 per annum.
Working hours: Sunday‑Thursday nights, 7 pm‑5 am.
As an Operations Administrator you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day site operation through general site, facilities, H&S and compliance activities. You will offer outstanding, organised support in a friendly environment and provide a helpful service.
Key Duties
- Monitor the H&S Accident portal ensuring accidents, incidents and near misses are comprehensively reported and actioned.
- Collate monthly site H&S check information, issue and monitor actions.
- Take notes and issue accurate Monthly H&S meeting minutes and follow up any actions.
- Book contractors for remedial works and communicate to the site accordingly.
- Issue permit to works when required.
- Manage diary for monthly contractor service/inspections.
- Request quotes for site repairs.
- Schedule BRC internal audits and communicate to the site accordingly.
- Manage site inbound and outbound post.
- Manage meeting rooms and catering requirements.
- Handle site ad‑hoc purchasing for all departments cost‑effectively.
- Organise hotels and transport arrangements.
Qualifications
- Experience of working in an administrative team in a logistics / warehouse environment.
- Ability to communicate positively and clearly, both with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Strong team spirit, loyalty, and commitment to the organisation and its members.
- Knowledge of company procedures and actively demonstrate compliance.
- Professional, approachable and helpful to ensure smooth running of the general operation.
- Strong planning, organising and prioritising skills to meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
