We’re recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our growing Rugby operation supporting some of the UK's leading bakery brands. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable business offering guaranteed & competitive earnings. Warrens is a growing name in the baked goods logistics sector, supporting major customers across the UK. As part of Culina Group, you’ll be joining a stable, established business with the backing, training and development opportunities of one of the UK’s leading logistics organisations.
Shift patterns available: 5 on 3 off Days
What you’ll be doing:
- Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK.
- Collecting and delivering to distribution centres, cash and carry sites and customer locations.
- Completing vehicle checks and following all legal and compliance requirements.
- Securing loads and completing required paperwork and electronic updates.
- Working with both single deck and double deck trailers.
- Carrying self-tipping and loading-related activity where required.
- Representing Warrens and Culina Group professionally at customer sites.
- 4 hour start windows to ensure flexibilities to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications:
- A valid HGV Class 1 licence.
- Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
- Previous HGV driving experience within chilled distribution would be advantageous.
- Ideally will need a minimum of 12 months HGV Class 1 experience. We will consider drivers with less experience.
- Good record keeping including manual entries.
- A professional, reliable and safety-focused approach.
- Confidence working with varied delivery points, tight yards and customer site procedures.
- Willingness to complete manual elements of the role, including self-tipping where needed.
- A positive can-do attitude and commitment to delivering excellent service.
- Ability to communicate with multiple teams via different interfaces.
