We would like to present you with an exciting opportunity for a Goods in Supervisor to join our friendly team at our Rugby site on a full time permanent basis!
Salary: £33,913 per annum.
Working hours: 4 on 4 off days, 6am-6pm.
As a Goods in Supervisor you will be responsible for the processing of goods inbound, ensuring counts and paperwork are accurate, and put-away.
Key Duties of a Goods in Supervisor:
- Accurate receipt of Stock Goods.
- Accurate Put Away of stock after receipt.
- Confirmation of receipts after checking all records are accurate.
- Prompt reporting of Goods In Discrepancies via the correct channels.
- Receipting to QC HOLD of returned or rejected at depot goods with all returns reported forward in the correct manner following the stated processes.
- Recommend Staff training requirements.
- Delegate cleaning duties to Goods In staff in Stock areas and around Bays to ensure a clean safe working environment.
- The outgoing shift needs to have “Handed Over” to the incoming shift with details of what has and has not been receipted or Put Away.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work quickly and efficiently.
- Must have a high level of knowledge regarding our WMS system.
- Be able to adapt and handle pressure of heavy inbound deliveries during the day.
- Show excellent Leadership within the team and lead by example.
- To be able to train and coach staff with new skills, developing them with Goods In.
- Show high levels of motivation within the team.
- Must be a very good communicator within this area and other areas of the business.
