We would like to present you with an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Coordinator to join our team at our Crick site on a full time permanent basis.
Salary: £31,355 per annum.
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm.
As the Compliance Coordinator, you will assess Health & Safety in the warehouse and contribute to a safer working environment ensuring that all company and customer's required standards are maintained and monitored.
Key Duties of a Compliance Coordinator:
- Ensure all training records and safety documentation are maintained accurately, and in line with legislative and company requirements.
- Develop a Site Safety Management Plan (SMP), to ensure a consistent safe working environment for all company employees, contractors and site visitors.
- Regularly audit the SMP for compliance, and update accordingly to ensure the alignment of all legislative and company requirements are adhered to.
- Assist in the co-ordination and implementation of training and processes which relate to Health & Safety and Food Safety (BRCGS) programs for the site.
- Participate and assist the site management team in the investigation of incidents to determine the root cause, and corrective actions where necessary.
- Ensure all site inspections are completed in full, and on time.
- Ensure all site safety boards and communication zones, including, but not limited to: Health & Safety Policy, Insurance Certification, Site Health & Safety minutes, Site Rules, location of First Aid are all maintained and current at all times.
- Ensure that a high standard of training, BRCGS compliance and Health & Safety is adhered within the working environment.
Qualifications:
- Computer Literate in Microsoft suite.
- Have a good working knowledge within a Warehouse and Logistics operation is advantageous.
- Interact and communicate effectively across multi-functional depots/departments.
- IOSH qualified desirable.
- An organised and methodical approach.
- Experience in a similar health and safety role.
- Effective Communication skill.
