Job Description We would like to present you with an exciting opportunity for a Transport Planner to join our friendly team at our Wentworth Park site on a full time permanent basis! 4 on 4 off nights, 6pm-6am.
As a Transport Planner you will be responsible for completing and overseeing the day-to-day planning function of the transport operation.
A highly motivated and driven individual, you will be experienced at working in a quick and fast-paced environment and be able to deal with day to day challenges in providing an effective transport plan.
Work with Transport and Warehouse teams, to create an efficient transport plan using the latest TMS.
Subcontracting and planning orders from multiple warehouse facilities and manufacturing sites across the UK.
Planning daily workload of fleet: vehicles based on site and outbases.
Planning approx. 100 collections per day on a time critical basis.
Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business particularly at peak periods during the year.
Efficiently utilise the Culina Group network in support Warrens when volumes dictate.
Proficient in computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Work and Outlook.
Experience of planning units across multiple depots.
Customer focus on delivery performance.
Experience in an FMCG environment.
Strong analytical and excel capability across standard formulas.
