As the oldest Cornish pasty maker in the world, we pride ourselves on delivering delicious baked goods and brilliant customer service. We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Seasonal Team Member to support our store in Trago Liskeard for approximately two months. Working approx. 16 hours per week, you’ll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment for our customers.
Our store is open every day Monday to Saturday, with operating hours from 9.30am to 17.00pm. The ideal candidate will be available to work flexible hours, across all seven days including weekends.
Responsibilities:- Provide brilliant customer service that leaves our customers smiling.
- Maintain our high standards in health, safety, and food hygiene.
- Operate the cash register and process customer transactions.
- Bake off products as required.
- Assist customers with their purchases and answer any questions they may have with your product knowledge.
- Ensure stock levels are well maintained.
- Maintain a clean and tidy shop floor, including restocking shelves and ensuring displays are well-presented.
- Promote our products and special offers.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Due to the tasks involved within this role, you must be 18 or over.
- Pay: £11.35 – £12.71 per hour, dependent on age.
