Lead our Team in our Staple Hill Restaurant in Trago Devon! We are now seeking a General Manager to support leading and inspiring our team in our Goodness Staple Hill restaurant in Trago Devon. This is a full-time role for 39 hours per week. Our restaurant is open every day of the week from 8am to 5pm and the ideal candidate will be available to work flexible hours, across all seven days including weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Standards: Ensure hygiene and food safety compliance, achieving an EHO rating of 5. Complete risk assessments and internal audits (health, safety, fire, brand standards).
- Leadership: Lead team through product launches and new initiatives. Stay competitive by monitoring local trends.
- People Management: Recruit, develop, and retain staff. Lead multiple shift teams to achieve performance goals through effective communication and motivation.
- Product Management: Ensure engaging product displays and availability. Support product knowledge for upselling and customer service.
- Customer Service: Manage customer demand, deliver top‑notch service, handle complaints, and provide continuous service training.
Requirements:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- The ability to monitor, manage and improve KPIs.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be 18 or over.
