Warren Services Ltd is an established and highly successful Engineering Manufacturing business based in Thetford, Norfolk. We have a permanent opportunity for a high caliber candidate to support our Orders team in a role encompassing the engineering planning of new jobs, order entry and progression and customer liaison. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing and progressive organisation at an exciting time.

Required to:

  • Provide support and assistance to the Orders team in all departmental tasks
  • Aid in administrative duties for the wider team
  • Liaise with customers in regard to delivery progression
  • Liaise with engineers and customers to address any manufacturing issues or queries
  • Process purchase orders
  • Interpret engineering drawings to plan new jobs to suit manufacturing production requirements (training will be given)
  • Work to tight lead-times
  • Assist the rest of the team as required and with the answering of incoming calls

Required attributes and skills:

  • Basic engineering knowledge
  • GCSE Math & English Grade C / Grade 4 or above, strong ICT skills required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office would be advantageous as would experience of a similar office environment, although training will be given
  • Good communication in all aspects
  • Confidence to learn and use other software applications

Desirable attributes:

  • Strong engineering knowledge
  • Experience in a customer facing position

Hours/Benefits:

  • 08:00 – 16:00 40 hours per week over Mon-Fri (Hours negotiable)
  • 33 days holiday
