Warren Services Ltd is an established and highly successful Engineering Manufacturing business based in Thetford, Norfolk. We have a permanent opportunity for a high caliber candidate to support our Orders team in a role encompassing the engineering planning of new jobs, order entry and progression and customer liaison. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing and progressive organisation at an exciting time.
Required to:
- Provide support and assistance to the Orders team in all departmental tasks
- Aid in administrative duties for the wider team
- Liaise with customers in regard to delivery progression
- Liaise with engineers and customers to address any manufacturing issues or queries
- Process purchase orders
- Interpret engineering drawings to plan new jobs to suit manufacturing production requirements (training will be given)
- Work to tight lead‑times
- Assist the rest of the team as required and with the answering of incoming calls
Required attributes and skills:
- Basic engineering knowledge
- GCSE Math & English Grade C / Grade 4 or above, strong ICT skills required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office would be advantageous as would experience of a similar office environment, although training will be given
- Good communication in all aspects
- Confidence to learn and use other software applications
- Strong engineering knowledge
- Experience in a customer facing position
08:00 – 16:00 40 hours per week over Mon‑Fri (Hours negotiable)
33 days holiday (incl. Bank Holidays of which 4 must be taken at the Christmas shutdown)
