We are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants who are motivated and friendly, with a passion for improving outcomes and life experiences for our pupils in the school with SLD and PMLD needs. The school is looking for a range of teaching assistants to help us deliver the curriculum and help our pupils achieve their potential. You will:

  • have experience working with SEND students
  • use a range of strategies to support a diverse range of complex needs
  • have strong interpersonal skills and innovative techniques are essential
  • support a rich, high quality, stimulating and enabling learning environment, where resources can be accessed appropriately by all pupils
  • support each pupil to access a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum differentiated to meet individual needs
  • use creative and diverse approaches to support the needs of all pupils and to develop a love of learning
  • support tasks relating to \’real life\’ experiences
  • be willing to share good practice
  • be looking for a challenge
  • be passionate about supporting learning characteristics in pupils
  • be able to adhere to policies and procedures and follow GDPR guidelines
  • be able to maintain confidentiality
  • have a desire to participate in school and trust CPD opportunities
  • have an awareness of Safeguarding
  • a willingness to contribute to the wider school through our curriculum enrichment and extended school offer.

Qualifications:

SEND Experience

Grade C /4+ Mathematics and English

Good level of computer literacy
