Warren Mead Infant and Junior Partnership is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant who has a passion for supporting young people, helping to enhance their learning, and nurture their social and emotional development.

Your opportunity

The successful candidate will support the class teacher in the delivery of learning and teaching activities. You will be assisting the teacher in the classroom and within small groups or for individual children, running interventions. Training will be provided to help undertake these responsibilities where needed.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual who will be passionate about children's learning, development, and welfare. Individuals who can assist in preparing the classroom, support the children and teacher with professionalism. Experience working within education would be desirable, however, the successful candidate will be able to evidence their understanding of the role through their application and interview.

The Details

  • Start Date: September 2026
  • FTE Salary: £23,914
  • Pro Rata Salary: £9,286.46
  • Pay Range: GLF Associate Grade 2.1
  • Hours: 16.25hrs - Monday – Friday 12pm - 3.30pm (Term time 39 weeks)
  • Contract: Fixed-term contract
  • Closing Date: Monday 1st June at 9.30am
