Warp is looking for a social-first creative to join our team in London, helping bring our Artists' stories to life across digital platforms. You'll be a creative all rounder and skilled in visual storytelling, bringing solid experience creating short form video, graphic design, motion graphics and imagery. Based within the Digital Communications team, you'll work fluidly with other departments, including A&R, Streaming, Marketing and E-Commerce, delivering creative for social media, mailers, websites and beyond.

We're looking for someone who has a deep knowledge of platforms, music fandom and internet culture. Experience working in music is a bonus, but what matters most is your genuine passion for storytelling through digital channels and a strong interest in the Artists we work with. This is an exciting role in an ever-evolving area of Warp. You'll have the opportunity to shape how our releases connect with fans, collaborate with Artists on building compelling narratives and be a key player in a team that champions bold ideas.

ROLE BREAKDOWN
  • Video Editing (35%)
    • Create engaging, platform-native video content for Artist and label social channels, tailoring editing style to match individual artist aesthetic and voice
    • Ideate and develop video concepts based on wider Artist strategy, current trends and platform-specific opportunities
    • Stay ahead of trending formats, sounds and editing styles, proactively recommending reactive content opportunities
  • Graphic Design and Imagery (20%)
    • Design strong visual imagery for social media, website and digital channels rooted in wider artist and label guidelines, including video titles, idents and typography treatments
    • Resize, adapt and optimise imagery across multiple platform specifications while maintaining visual quality and brand consistency
    • Create layout for print and marketing assets, maintaining visual consistency across all artist touch points
  • Motion and Animation (15%)
    • Design and animate motion graphics for social, website and digital advertising, including bringing static album artwork to life
    • Produce visualisers for track teasers, audio clips and lyric-focused content with animated text treatments, transitions and effects
    • Develop templates and reusable motion assets for efficient campaign rollouts
  • Video and Photo Capture (15%)
    • Shoot video and photography across a range of formats, from phone clips to professional capture
    • Produce product video and photography, including unboxing content and product shots
    • Identify and capture authentic moments with artists including BTS, editorial, sessions and live events
  • Team Collaboration and Workflow (15%)
    • Respond to creative briefs, managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering to deadline with time for feedback and amends
    • Contribute ideas to campaign brainstorms while ensuring all content aligns with Artist brand identity and label standards
    • Maintain organised asset libraries and project files, with the ability to work alongside external creators
PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential skills:

  • Proven experience directly creating content for digital platforms (portfolio required)
  • Advanced video editing skills (Premiere Pro preferred)
  • Strong graphic design abilities, especially with typography (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Motion graphics experience (After Effects)
  • Filming and photography experience (DSLR, mirrorless cameras or phone capture)
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Creative thinker with strong visual storytelling abilities
  • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Artists
  • Adaptable and comfortable with fast paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Detail-oriented with high standards for quality

Knowledge:

  • Native understanding of social media platforms
  • Deep knowledge of current social media trends and internet culture
  • Familiarity with platform best practices and ability to communicate these
  • Strong knowledge of Warp and the Artists we work with

Desirable skills:

  • Experience working with Artists, labels and album campaigns
  • Copywriting skills
  • Experience of layout for print
  • Basic audio editing/mixing skills
