The Role

We are looking for a senior, hands-on Business Central consultant to lead a defined transformation of our finance and operational systems. This is a contract/project-based role, focused on delivering a full end-to-end improvement of our D365 Business Central environment. You’ll take ownership from detailed workflow specification through to implementation, stakeholder adoption, and delivery. You will be working closely with finance, operations, and data teams to ensure the system is not only implemented effectively, but fit for purpose, scalable, and well adopted across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and deliver the end-to-end transformation of our existing D365 Business Central setup
  • Translate existing finance workflows into robust, scalable solutions
  • Translate each workstream successfully as per the detailed specification
  • Lead enhancements across GL, AP, AR, reporting, purchasing workflows, and dimension structures
  • Drive automation and integrations, including API-led data flows into our data lake (supporting Tableau reporting)
  • Act as the lead consultant for stakeholders, running workshops, shaping solutions, and driving decisions
  • Deliver training and ensure successful adoption post-implementation
  • Work closely with internal data, finance, and operations teams to align delivery with business needs

About You

  • Background in a consultancy or Microsoft Partner environment
  • Comfortable operating as a lead consultant with full delivery ownership
  • Strong understanding of finance processes within ERP systems
  • Experience with integrations, APIs, and reporting ecosystems (e.g. Power Platform, Tableau, data pipelines)
