We are seeking an experienced Legal Executive/Paralegal to join our highly regarded Court of Protection team. This is an excellent opportunity for a friendly and proactive individual with a solid background in Private Client or Court of Protection work.
Responsibilities
- Building relationships with clients and referrers
- Ensuring effective client care from taking instructions throughout the process of the matter and to closing of the file
- Handling financial aspects of a matter
- Ensuring the confidentiality of all firm and client documentation and information
- Performing other duties commensurate with the position as may be reasonably required
Qualifications
- A team player, focused, committed, an effective communicator both oral and written, attentive to detail, good telephone manner
- Able to assimilate and analyse large amounts of information, paying great attention to detail
- Caring and understanding attitude
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines, planning time and priorities
- IT competent, proficient in audio-typing, MS Word, Excel and Outlook
This role includes occasional client visits, so we ask that candidates have a valid driving licence and use of a car.
