About the Role:

We are a well-respected law firm based in Sevenoaks, seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join our busy Family Law team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and organised individual with a solid background in family law. The role may be either full-time or part-time.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative and secretarial support to the Family Law team lawyers.
  • Preparing legal documents and correspondence.
  • Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and handling client communications.
  • Assisting with file management, document filing, and compliance procedures.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience as a legal secretary, specifically within family law.
  • Excellent typing and IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
  • A team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist across the department when needed.
