We are working with our client, a leading UK accountancy and business advisory firm, who is looking to strengthen its Technical Standards team with an experienced assurance professional.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in assurance, technical standards, quality or methodology who is looking to move away from traditional client-facing engagements into a specialist technical advisory role.
The Opportunity
- Provide technical advice and guidance on complex assurance matters.
- Support the development and implementation of assurance methodology, policies and procedures.
- Advise Partners, Directors and engagement teams on technical and quality-related issues.
- Work across a broad range of non-audit assurance engagements.
- Contribute to technical projects, regulatory developments and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the firm.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in assurance, audit technical, quality or methodology.
- Knowledge of international assurance standards, particularly ISAEs, ISREs and ISRSs.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience within a leading accountancy or professional services firm.
