Warner Scott are partnered with a UK Professional Services firm who are looking to hire an M&A Manager for their growing Corporate Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded M&A professional to take on a broad, client‑facing role within an established yet entrepreneurial environment. The firm advises owner‑managed businesses, SMEs, and mid‑market clients across a wide range of sectors.
Responsibilities
- Leading and executing corporate finance assignments, including M&A (buy‑side and sell‑side), disposals, acquisitions, and strategic advisory projects
- Managing the preparation of information memoranda, financial models, valuations, and transaction documentation
- Acting as a primary point of contact for clients throughout transactions
- Coordinating with internal specialists (tax, audit, advisory) to deliver integrated solutions
- Supporting business development activity, including pitches and proposals
- Coaching and mentoring junior team members and reviewing their work
- Ensuring assignments are delivered to a high technical and professional standard, on time and within budget
Requirements
- Proven experience in corporate finance / M&A, gained within a professional services firm, boutique advisory, or similar environment
- Strong technical capability in financial modelling, valuation, and transaction execution
- A recognised professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent)
