I am currently working with a leading professional services firm that is continuing to grow its Business Restructuring team in Manchester. The team remains busy with a strong pipeline of work and is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Manager who is keen to take on increased responsibility, develop client relationships and play an important role in the continued growth of the practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced restructuring professional looking for a role that offers a broad range of advisory and insolvency work, senior client exposure and genuine opportunities for progression.
The role will include:
- Leading and managing a range of restructuring, turnaround and insolvency assignments
- Advising companies, lenders, investors and other stakeholders experiencing financial distress
- Working across areas including turnaround, refinancing, Independent Business Reviews, cash flow and options reviews, contingency planning and formal insolvency
- Taking responsibility for the delivery of complex assignments and managing project teams
- Developing and maintaining strong senior client and stakeholder relationships
- Coaching and developing junior team members
- Supporting business development, pitches and the continued growth of the Manchester team
The successful candidate must be a professionally qualified accountant, ideally ACA or ACCA, with strong restructuring and insolvency experience. Previous experience working within a Restructuring, Insolvency or Business Restructuring team within an accountancy practice or specialist restructuring boutique is essential. An insolvency qualification such as JIEB would be advantageous. Candidates must also be eligible to work in the UK.
This is a particularly interesting opportunity for someone who wants to join a growing team, work on a varied portfolio of restructuring assignments and have a clear opportunity to progress their career.
