Managing Director – Business Development – Private Equity Coverage and M&A
Our client, a global advisory firm, is seeking a driven professional to join its Business Development team. This client-facing role is central to identifying new opportunities, managing key accounts, and supporting the growth of both new and repeat business.
The Company
A leading advisory firm specialising in risk advisory with global footprint headquarted in London. Their work supports high-stakes decision-making across deals, partnerships, and complex legal or regulatory challenges. Clients include private equity firms, M&A houses, corporates, and legal teams navigating transactional and strategic risks in global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new clients; re-engage dormant accounts.
- Lead client relationship management across active and long-term projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of client work.
- Actively support the development and execution of business development initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience engaging with private equity deal teams or similar client bases.
- Background in consultancy, banking, or law.
- Strong network within Private Equity, M&A houses and the wider investment community
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
- Self-starter with the ability to work across international teams.
Location: London-based, with flexibility to work with global clients.
