The Role
You will independently manage strategic intelligence investigations across Europe, taking responsibility for projects from scoping through delivery.
Included Responsibilities
- Designing and structuring investigative lines of inquiry based on your assessment of commercial, regulatory and political risks and opportunities.
- Identifying and engaging human sources within and beyond the firm's network, and developing strategies for effective source outreach.
- Defining and overseeing open-source research requirements and supervising analysts conducting research.
- Evaluating the credibility, relevance and provenance of human source intelligence.
Client Engagement & Delivery
- Preparing and delivering clear, commercially focused verbal briefings.
- Managing high-pressure interactions with private equity investors, multinational corporates, legal teams and senior executives.
- Producing high-quality written deliverables that synthesise complex intelligence into actionable insight, including:
- Analysing and contextualising risks and opportunities within broader sector and geographic trends.
- Creating clearly structured, narrative-driven reports for commercial audiences.
Developing the Firm's Intelligence Capability
- Identifying, vetting and cultivating relationships with prospective human sources across multiple sectors and geographies.
- Supporting the team's wider source-development strategy.
Qualifications & Capabilities
- Exceptional fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- At least four years of professional experience, including a minimum of two years leading consulting projects or workstreams involving commercial, regulatory and/or political analysis.
- A strong foundational understanding of key business, political and regulatory trends across Europe.
- Additional major business language skills (such as Japanese, French or Spanish) are an advantage.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
