A leading advisory firm is seeking an Analyst to join its Investigations & Intelligence practice in London. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile matters spanning litigation, arbitration, regulatory issues, and strategic intelligence assignments. As an Analyst, you will support the delivery of investigative and intelligence-led work for clients, contributing to fact-finding, research, and analysis that underpin critical decision-making. This is a hands-on role suited to a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and an interest in disputes and investigations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigative Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research using public records, databases, and open-source intelligence (OSINT). Analyse information to identify key insights, patterns, and risks. Support the development of event chronologies and evidentiary summaries.
  • Case Support: Assist in matters involving litigation, arbitration, regulatory inquiries, and internal investigations. Support senior team members with document reviews, source research, and intelligence gathering. Contribute to the preparation of client-ready reports and briefing materials.
  • Intelligence Gathering: Compile and assess information from a range of sources to build comprehensive profiles. Support discreet source enquiries and verification processes where appropriate. Ensure all research is accurate, well-documented, and meets high professional standards.
  • Project Coordination: Maintain organised records of research, sources, and case materials. Assist in managing workflows and deadlines across multiple assignments. Work collaboratively with colleagues across different teams and jurisdictions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 1-2 years’ experience in investigations, intelligence, research, consulting, legal support, or a related field.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong research and critical thinking abilities, with the capacity to synthesise complex information clearly.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise reports.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and rigour in handling sensitive information.
