Are you an experienced Forensic Manager or Associate Director ready to step into a key leadership role in a dynamic and growing forensic practice? Our client, a leading accountancy firm in London, is seeking an ambitious and commercially aware Associate Director to join their highly respected Forensic Services team, specialising in dispute valuation. As the number two to the Partner, you will play a vital strategic and operational role, taking the lead on high-profile disputes and helping to drive business development across the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of complex forensic assignments, with a strong focus on:
  • Competition disputes
  • Intellectual property and brand integrity disputes
  • Insurance claims
  • Audit malpractice defence
  • Product recall and transaction-related disputes
  • Oversee the preparation of expert witness reports
  • Advise on sale and purchase agreements and the causation of damages
  • Apply valuation and finance principles in litigation contexts
  • Navigate various dispute resolution mechanisms – including trial, mediation, arbitration and regulatory tribunals
  • Manage and mentor experienced teams of forensic professionals
  • Work closely with the Partner to develop client relationships and secure new business
  • About You:

    • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
    • Currently working in a professional services forensic accounting team
    • Demonstrable experience in dispute valuation
    • Strong technical skills and a sound understanding of litigation support
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, with proven experience preparing expert reports
    • Confident in front of clients and comfortable participating in business development activities
    • A collaborative and supportive leader, able to inspire and manage high-performing teams
