About the Role – The dynamic, global Legal Project Management team seeks a candidate to support the Corporate & Finance practice group.
Responsibilities –
- Build strong relationships with partners and other business services teams.
- Efficiently manage matters, including scoping, budgeting, workstream planning, ongoing matter management, tracking, and data analysis.
- Liaise with business services teams (pricing, finance, IT, knowledge, marketing, business development, etc.) and vendors to support partners, clients, and matters.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency and innovation at both the matter and program levels.
- Provide training and development on LPM methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Drive and support the implementation, use, and development of LPM best practices, tools, and software.
- Collaborate within practice group-aligned LPM teams, reporting to the practice group LPM Lead.
- Duties and responsibilities may evolve to reflect changes in personnel, structure, staff location, or services.
- Participate in the firm's Responsible Business program.
Qualifications –
- Experience as an LPM, with advanced knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Preferred experience in transactional law.
- Large firm consulting experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in scoping, budgeting, project planning, workflow management, and after-matter reviews.
- Technical skills in Excel, PowerBI (or similar), HighQ, Smartsheet, ELM (or comparable LPM tools)
- Comprehensive knowledge of law firm management metrics and their application to legal practice.

- Strong ability to build relationships and networks internally and externally, across all levels.
- High-level influencing skills, instilling confidence in proposed LPM solutions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proactive, inquisitive problem-solver with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
