Position Overview:
The Director of Transaction Services will take a leadership role in managing and executing transaction-related services, particularly within the TMT sectors. This includes overseeing financial due diligence, buy-side and sell-side advisory, and post-deal integration activities. The successful candidate will manage complex client relationships, lead strategic initiatives, and play a pivotal role in growing the firm's presence in the TMT market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage financial due diligence engagements for M&A transactions, with a focus on the TMT sector, delivering insightful and actionable reports to clients.
- Provide strategic transaction advisory services across a wide range of TMT-focused deals, helping clients navigate complex transactions and assess financial and operational risks.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including private equity firms, corporates, legal teams, and other partners.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team, providing guidance, training, and leadership to ensure the successful execution of client engagements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategies for expanding the firm's transaction services practice in the TMT sector.
- Lead client-facing presentations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, concise, and compelling reports and recommendations.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the TMT sectors and the broader transaction landscape.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in transaction services, financial due diligence, or M&A advisory, with a proven track record in the TMT sectors.
- Strong technical expertise in financial analysis, accounting principles, and M&A processes.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on developing talent and driving client results.
- Proven ability to build and manage client relationships, particularly in complex and high-profile engagements.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of simplifying complex financial concepts for diverse audiences.
- An excellent strategic mindset, with the ability to assess market trends and tailor advisory services accordingly.
- ACCA, ACA, CFA, or similar professional designation is preferred.
