Warner Scott are partnered with a top UK Accounting and Consulting firm who are looking to add a Valuations Executive to their wider corporate finance team. The firm are looking for an ambitious professional, either with Valuations experience or direct from Audit, who can handle Valuations engagements for clients in a variety of sectors. As this sits as part of the wider corporate finance team, this role will also work closely with M&A professionals and gain a deep understanding of the full deal cycle.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with business and share valuations for: M&A transactions, Tax and restructuring purposes, Financial reporting requirements, Shareholder disputes and strategic planning
- Preparing financial models (DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions)
- Conducting detailed financial analysis and research
- Drafting valuation reports and supporting documentation
- Liaising directly with clients to gather financial and commercial information
- Supporting the wider Corporate Finance team on live deal situations
- Contributing to internal initiatives and business development where appropriate
Requirements
- ACA Qualified or nearing completion (or equivalent qualification)
- Strong financial analysis and technical accounting skills
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Prior experience in valuations or financial modelling (preferred)
