This role will suit someone who enjoys combining technical insolvency work with leadership, advisory exposure and client responsibility. There is a strong existing pipeline of work and genuine scope to influence how cases are run, how people are developed and how the service offering evolves.
You will take ownership of a varied portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, ensuring they are progressed efficiently and to a high standard. Alongside this, you will be closely involved in advisory assignments such as independent business reviews, options analysis and accelerated sales processes.
Key elements of the role include:
- Managing and progressing administrations and liquidations
- Supporting Partners and Directors across complex assignments
- Supervising, reviewing and developing junior team members
- Acting as a key point of contact for stakeholders and appointees
- Reviewing statutory documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance

About you:
My client is seeking someone with substantial experience in corporate insolvency, particularly administrations and liquidations, alongside exposure to advisory work. You will have a strong working knowledge of insolvency legislation and be comfortable juggling multiple assignments at once.
You will be a qualified accountant and or JIEB, and someone who enjoys mentoring others while still remaining close to the technical detail.
Why consider this role:
This is a genuinely progressive opportunity for someone who wants to step into a trusted number two position with clear visibility and influence. The firm offers a competitive salary, hybrid working, strong benefits and a supportive culture that values development and inclusion.
