About the Company – A leading global advisory firm is seeking an exceptional individual to join their Value Creation Transformation practice as an Associate Director, focusing on the Consumer, Retail, and Leisure sectors. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in Deal Strategy, which is one of the core offerings of the firm. Experience in other strategic areas such as Growth Strategy, Cost and Operational Strategy (including Economic Profitability Analysis), and Enterprise-wide Transformation will be advantageous. The Value Creation Transformation team is part of the firm's rapidly growing Strategy Group, dedicated to delivering value to clients by offering innovative thinking, industry expertise, and meticulous execution. The team comprises over 150 professionals working collaboratively with other capabilities within the Advisory business.
About the Role – As an Associate Director within the Value Creation Transformation practice, you will be expected to:
- Take a leadership role in the team and maintain a strong, credible reputation with clients and the broader market. Experience in managing M&A-related projects, such as Commercial Due Diligence (CDD), M&A Strategy, and Value Creation, will be crucial.
- Lead and manage mid-sized to large projects or complex workstreams, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality results.
- Serve as the primary client liaison, representing the firm and fostering long-term relationships with clients.
- Deliver client-ready materials that exceed expectations, requiring minimal review.
- Develop innovative solutions to complex business challenges and provide strategic advice to senior colleagues and clients.
- Guide junior staff in executing detailed financial/business models and conducting complex analysis.
- Identify and pursue market and business development opportunities, proactively engaging clients.
- Maintain regular contact with clients beyond the context of active engagements.
- Demonstrate thought leadership and drive knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to risk management frameworks.
- Actively contribute to leadership development within the team, providing feedback and mentoring to junior staff.
- Take responsibility for internal processes and practice development initiatives to drive successful outcomes.
