Job Description

As a result of sustained expansion, this leading professional services firm can offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced US/UK Tax Director to manage and lead a growing team of US/UK professionals. The practice offers consultancy services tailored to individuals and entities planning to invest in the U.S., as well as U.S. persons seeking to invest or expand into the UK and/or Europe.

These services encompass advice on optimal investment ownership structures, entity formation for business operations, tax mitigation strategies, and techniques for tax-efficient income repatriation.Your responsibilities will be wide-ranging and include: *Excelling in technical research, ad hoc advisory projects, and specialising in areas such as treaty claims, complex capital gains tax issues, and taxation matters relevant to non-domiciled individuals*Overseeing the efficient running of US and UK annual tax return processes*Managing responses to enquiries raised by the IRS and HMRC, with involvement in more complex cases* Supporting, training, and assisting team members to maximise performance* Demonstrate strong leadership* Significant involvement in marketing events and business development to achieve business goals for the group and firm, including building an effective business network and developing a strong personal brand internally and externally*Taking ownership for financial management of the group including WIP management, billing targets, cash collection and providing quotes on an annual basis and for new work*Active role in the development, technical training and support of junior members of staffAbout youYou will demonstrate confidence in delivering work to the highest standard, possess exceptional communication skills, and maintain a flexible and adaptable approach to your responsibilities. Ideally, you will bring 15 years of professional experience in taxation, coupled with advanced expertise in taxation law.In addition, you should also possess:*Solid understanding of accounting and tax software*Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel*A Bachelor of Commerce degree or equivalent*Postgraduate qualifications in taxation required (CPA, EA or JD)*High-level leadership and staff management skills*Strong communication skills across clients, staff, and management*Advanced computer operational skills and time management*Experience working with CCH and Virtual Cabinet*The ability to work with prestigious clients who require complete confidentialityIn ReturnYou will be offered a competitive package, a collaborative and professional environment with excellent colleagues, and the chance to work with many prestigious clients.
