You will be working with a wonderful, friendly, hardworking and experienced team. This is a brilliant opportunity to work for such a supportive team who have a can-do attitude and all help each other out during busy periods. Warner Recruitment are excited to be working with this local well-established business based in Northampton, to recruit for an experienced Credit Controller. The successful candidate must have previous Credit Control experience and be comfortable on the phone. Experience in Sales Ledger will be advantageous, although full training will be provided on the sales ledger processes. You will ideally reside near Northampton as you will be required to work in the office Monday - Friday. Credit Controller job duties:
- Chasing overdue payments
- Allocating payments to the sales ledger
- Dealing with customer queries
- Discussing payment plans
- Preparing daily and weekly DDs
- Credit checks and risk assessment
- Taking Credit Card payments
- Reconciliations
- Month end processes including reports and statements
- Dealing with all pro forma orders to obtain payments
- Cash input and allocation
- Setting up new accounts on the system
- Database amendments and updates
- Supplying customers with copy documents

- Experience in Credit Control
- Able to commute to the office in Northampton on a daily basis
- A can-do attitude to work and able to ask questions to get the job done
- Confident telephone manner
- Help other members of the team at busy periods and in turn they will assist you during your busy periods
