Overview
The Creative Director will spearhead the creative direction and execution of visual media supporting Warner Music's iconic global catalogue artists.
They will own and lead the global creative output for the Catalogue team, delivering best-in-class multimedia assets across social, digital, CRM and campaign marketing.
This is a hands‑on leadership role for an experienced designer who can set creative standards and contribute to design work where needed.
They will manage and develop a team of multimedia designers, with responsibility for workflow management, quality control, and performance.
They will also provide strategic leadership across social‑first content and platform innovation.
The successful candidate will own creative processes, intake systems, and prioritisation frameworks, ensuring efficient delivery across time zones without compromising quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a cross‑territory team of multimedia designers and creatives.
- Shape the global creative department, setting standards, processes, culture and building a best‑in‑class in‑house production function.
- Stay hands‑on creatively, providing design work on high‑profile campaigns and complex briefs.
- Drive creative excellence, giving specific, targeted feedback and guiding principles to elevate design and editing while balancing performance goals.
- Develop and optimise repeatable storytelling formats.
- Build efficient workflows, processes, intake and prioritisation at scale.
Qualifications
- Senior multimedia designer and creative with hands‑on experience across social, digital and campaign creative.
- Audience empathy for subtle tone and format considerations.
- Confident people leader who can develop designers and innovate creative.
- Highly organised, process‑driven with experience building workflows, managing multiple projects and balancing quality with speed.
