The Manager, Fan Engagement (EMEA) will play a key role in driving Warner Music Group’s CRM and direct-to-fan strategy across the region, ensuring artists can reach, grow and mobilize their audiences directly. This role combines hands-on CRM and email marketing expertise with strong stakeholder management, delivering impactful campaigns across email, SMS and emerging fan engagement channels. As part of the Global Marketing team, you will manage a high volume of CRM-led campaigns across labels, optimize performance through data-driven insights and embed best practice that puts fans at the centre of communication. Reporting to the Global Director, Fan Engagement, you will help shape how Warner turns passive listeners into active superfans through consistent, high-quality direct engagement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Campaign Management & Strategy: Execute CRM and fan engagement campaigns across email, SMS and WhatsApp, ensuring they are delivered seamlessly and to a high standard. Develop and champion innovative approaches to CRM and fan engagement that strengthen artist-fan relationships and support label marketing priorities. Build and share best-in-class campaign templates and examples to streamline planning and drive consistent data capture.
- Collaboration & Partnerships: Partner closely with frontline labels to plan and deliver campaigns that reflect global strategy and local market needs. Work with EMEA labels and Global Marketing teams to drive CRM-led revenue and show measurable ROI. Support the Global Director, Fan Engagement in embedding best practices and ensuring fan-first communication across the group. Collaborate with stakeholders on Warner’s marketing technology and customer intelligence platform roadmap, with a focus on optimizing fan engagement data.
- Audience & Data Optimization: Analyze campaign performance, producing insights and recommendations to improve segmentation, targeting and fan experience. Partner with the Global D2F Audience team to ensure campaigns reach the right fans at the right time. Review data collection across artist touchpoints (websites, stores, socials, activations) to ensure fan data is reliable and ready to use. Regularly report on fan acquisition and engagement activity, highlighting opportunities to scale impact across markets.
Experience Level: 3-4 years’ experience in CRM or fan engagement, ideally within the music or entertainment industry, or across multiple accounts/brands with a D2F focus. Hands-on experience deploying campaigns across email and mobile channels, with strong ability in reporting and audience analysis. Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience strongly preferred, with working knowledge of Customer Data Platforms and SQL. Solid understanding of segmentation, targeting and data-driven communication strategies. Strong stakeholder management skills, able to work in a fast-paced, campaign-driven environment with shifting priorities. Comfortable presenting campaign plans and results, using platforms such as Tableau, Salesforce, or similar. Technical proficiency in HTML/CSS preferred, alongside strong Excel/Google Sheets and presentation skills. Familiarity with project management tools (Airtable, Asana, Monday.com, Trello). Demonstrated interest in emerging D2F marketing trends and their application to artist campaigns. Fluency in English; French, German or Spanish a plus.
