Your Role
We are looking for a Junior Marketing Manager to cover our Rock and Alternative roster. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of campaigns across a roster ranging from emerging breaking acts to established global icons. You will be expected to have a deep-rooted connection to the alternative landscape and a sophisticated understanding of how to build artist brands without sacrificing credibility.
Here You’ll Get To:
- Campaign Delivery: Execute end-to-end marketing strategies for artist releases, ensuring all assets and activations align with the artist’s aesthetic and audience.
- Project Coordination: Own the logistics of the release cycle, including updating marketing plans, managing media bookings, and maintaining strict release schedules.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a key point of contact for artist management and internal departments (A&R, Promotions, Digital, and Sales) to ensure campaign cohesion.
- Platform Innovation: Identify and utilise emerging platforms and non-traditional media to engage audiences in ways that feel organic to the genre.
- Budget Oversight: Manage marketing spend and coordinate with external vendors, ensuring all administrative financial requirements are met.
- Reporting & Insight: Monitor campaign performance and audience sentiment, providing the Marketing Director with actionable data to refine ongoing strategies.
About You:
The successful candidate will be a fixture in the alternative music community with a natural instinct for visual identity and fan culture.
- Previous Industry Experience: You must have a background in music marketing (Label, Agency, or Management) with experience navigating a full release cycle.
- Subject Matter Expertise: A comprehensive understanding of the Rock and Alternative genres, including an awareness of current tastemakers, independent retail, and live scenes.
- Communication: Highly organised with the ability to manage complex projects and communicate effectively with high-profile artists and creative partners.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with data analytics and a nuanced understanding of digital marketing tools.
This position requires a minimum of 4 days per week in the office. We value in-office collaboration, which is essential for talent development and strong working relationships.
