About the Role

Indirect Tax Analyst responsible for the end-to-end preparation of indirect and withholding tax (WHT) compliance across the EMEA region.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the preparation and filing of VAT, WHT, and statutory reports (Intrastat, EC Sales) ensuring compliance with local requirements and global controls.
  • Perform mandatory reconciliations between ERP data and tax reporting modules, identifying and resolving variances.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive audit‑ready documentation for every filing, meeting internal checklists and control requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regional affiliates regarding data queries and adjustments, providing financial reconciliations.
  • Track and update compliance status, payments, and refunds across the region to maintain real‑time visibility.
  • Identify system anomalies and process gaps and collaborate with the Process Improvement team to enhance SOPs and workflows.
  • Participate in cross‑functional meetings with Finance and Global Tax leadership to resolve technical tax queries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in indirect tax compliance and VAT accounting within a large multinational or shared services environment.
  • Good understanding of UK and EU VAT regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
  • Professional and clear communicator with an understanding of escalation protocols and departmental alignment.
  • Experience with S/4 HANA, OneSource Indirect Tax Determination, or OneSource Indirect Tax Compliance modules is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Language fluency in English plus proficiency in another regional language (Italian, French, German, or Spanish).
  • Experience with workflow management tools such as JIRA and incident‑triage platforms (PEGA).

Work Arrangement

This position requires a minimum of two days per week in the office. Hybrid work arrangements are supported.
