Job Title: Creative Director

The Creative Director will spearhead the creative direction and execution of visual media supporting Warner Music’s iconic global catalogue artists. They will own and lead the global creative output for the Catalogue team, delivering best-in-class multimedia assets across social, digital, CRM and campaign marketing.

As a hands‑on leader, you will set creative standards, contribute to design work, manage and develop a team of multimedia designers, and provide strategic leadership across social‑first content and platform innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a cross‑territory team of multimedia designers and creatives.
  • Own and shape a global creative department, establishing standards, processes, culture, and an in‑house production function.
  • Stay hands‑on creatively, contributing to high‑profile campaigns and complex creative briefs.
  • Drive creative excellence by providing targeted feedback and guiding principles to elevate design and editing.
  • Develop and optimize repeatable story formats that drive engaging visuals.
  • Build efficient, robust workflows and production processes, including intake and prioritization at scale.

Qualifications

  • Senior multimedia designer with hands‑on experience in social, digital, and campaign creative.
  • Audience empath who can discern tone and format for compelling storytelling.
  • Confident people leader capable of developing designers and raising creativity levels.
  • Highly organized and process‑driven, experienced in building workflows, managing multiple projects, and balancing quality with speed.
  • Thrives in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments and builds teams and systems from the ground up.
  • Collaborative, calm under pressure, and comfortable working with senior stakeholders.
  • Preferred: experience in music, entertainment, or culture‑led brands and understanding of fan behaviour and platform trends.
  • Background in social‑first content strategy for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Experience managing external agencies or freelancers and holding them to high creative standards.
  • Natural curiosity for new formats, tools, and creative technology.
