A Little Bit About Our Team

Reporting to the Royalty Manager, you will be working within a team of 20. You’ll be responsible for all the Warner UK labels including Parlophone, Atlantic and Classics ensuring our artists are paid on time. You’ll be the expert in your area knowing all there is to know about our accounts, answering queries, approving payments and statements.

Here You’ll Get To:

  • Deputise for the Royalty Manager where necessary.
  • Approve and prepare quarterly and six monthly royalty statements ensuring contractual guidelines are met.
  • Approve the interpretation and implementation of artist recording agreements to the royalty system.
  • Approve the set-up of new releases to ensure all participants are captured.
  • Liaise with the financial planners to ensure accurate recoupable cost information is extracted from GFS and interfaced to WARS.
  • Management of a caseload of complex queries, support for audit reviews and other project work, including providing supporting documents as requested during Artist and SOX audits.
  • Maintain WARS data tables including artist responsibility, territory and config groupings ensuring WARS data is kept in line with MUR.
  • Management of workload and assisting the Royalty Manager on an ad hoc basis.

About You:

  • Significant experience of artist accounting within a royalties department (min 2-3 years).
  • Highly organised with an acute level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience of supervising a team.
  • Prepared to take responsibility and be accountable for your own workload.
  • Able to work on own initiative and as a team player.
  • Comfortable with communicating effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Looking for constant improvements with a view to achieving best working practice.
  • Able to master the dual requirement of attention to detail and to focus on the big picture issues.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
