As part of Warner Music Group’s ADA division, you will report to the Director of Streaming & Commercial Strategy, supporting the delivery of streaming, audience, and commercial insights across a diverse roster of artists and genres. This fast‑paced, highly collaborative role blends analytical rigor with commercial curiosity, driven by a passion for music, data, and digital culture.
Your Role
- You will help the business understand artist performance, audience behaviour and market trends, translating large datasets into clear, actionable insights that support campaign strategy and business growth.
- The role also contributes to the development of AI‑driven tools, reporting efficiencies and internal data processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver bespoke reporting, analysis and insights across artist campaigns, streaming platforms and market trends.
- Support strategic discussions by communicating key artist, audience and commercial insights to the teams.
- Work with large datasets using SQL/Snowflake and Tableau (or similar BI tools) to produce and analyse daily, weekly and campaign‑level performance reporting.
- Monitor UK market trends, streaming consumption and DSP partner performance.
- Partner with A&R teams to provide data‑led insight on potential signings and emerging talent opportunities.
- Assist in the development of internal tools, automations and reporting processes to improve team efficiency and scalability.
- Build audience and consumption models to help inform audience growth and acquisition strategies.
- Identify patterns, trends and opportunities across campaigns, genres and the wider streaming landscape.
- Explore and support the implementation of AI and LLM‑based solutions to enhance reporting, insight generation and operational efficiency.
About You
- Highly analytical with strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable interpreting large datasets and translating complex findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor insights for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience writing SQL queries and working with large datasets.
- Experience building dashboards and visualisations in Tableau or a similar BI platform.
- Strong understanding of how statistical and analytical techniques can be applied to business and audience data.
- Familiarity with AI tools, LLMs and workflow automation concepts.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across teams in a matrix‑style organisation.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and confidence working with complex formulas and datasets.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in an analyst, data or insights role within music, media or entertainment.
- Familiarity with Python or other programming languages used for analytics and automation.
- Knowledge of music industry analytics platforms such as Chartmetric, Luminate, Soundcharts or similar tools.
- Understanding of streaming ecosystem dynamics, audience development and DSP best practices.
- Experience using Airtable, Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools.
- Passion for music, digital culture and emerging technology.
Minimum of 4 days per week in the office to support in‑office collaboration and strong working relationships.
