The Warner Chappell Music (WCM) UK finance team is comprised of five people who report to the SVP, Operations and Finance. The team operates from the London office – Kensington Court – and works closely with other WCM UK departments and the London Shared Service Centre.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the SSC team to input invoices and oversee the timely processing of payments.
  • Ensure revenue is accurately allocated to the correct reporting codes in SAP.
  • Work with the Finance Manager to populate accurate cash‑flow forecasts.
  • Coordinate with the Tax department to maintain up‑to‑date tax documentation.

Monthly duties

  • Prepare month‑end journals and allocate costs among reporting entities.
  • Complete intercompany reconciliations, obtaining confirmations from affiliate offices.
  • Maintain management reports including sync revenue, advance spend, production music income tracker, and T&E tracker.
  • Prepare tax compliance reports and filings such as VAT and Withholding Tax returns.

Other duties

  • Act as an ambassador for the global SAP rollout, servicing queries between the business unit and the SSC.
  • Prepare financials for roster meetings.
  • Perform ad‑hoc project work as required.
  • Support audits and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, comfortable with intermediate formulas (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IFERROR).
