A little bit about our team: Atlantic Records UK is home to some of the most iconic UK artists from household names such as Ed Sheeran, Anne-Marie, Charli XCX & Burna Boy to emerging names such as Fred Again.. and Maisie Peters. You’d be joining the Atlantic UK Audience team, who work hand in hand with Marketing to construct our artist campaigns, driving amplification online, growing audiences and building and nurturing fan communities.
This role supports the creation, distribution, and management of engaging, culturally resonant content for artists across various digital platforms. Reporting to the Senior Content Manager, this role is crucial in assisting the digital leads on each artist project in driving conversation, building artist brands, and converting passive listeners into active fans. The Coordinator will assist with content strategy, perform research, track performance, and collaborate with internal teams to build artist audiences and drive engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Ideation, Creation & Execution: Actively contribute ideas for engaging, platform-native content formats and activations across major social channels.
- Coordination & Editing: Coordinate the creation and editing of various content formats, with a keen eye for optimising content for engagement.
- Daily Management: Coordinate the daily management of artist social media accounts, supporting the scheduling and publishing of content across artist social media channels and other digital platforms, including uploading and optimising long-form content on YouTube.
- Trend Application: Consistently apply an understanding of current internet culture to content execution and ideation.
Research, Strategy Support, and Operational Efficiency:
- Content Research: Conduct research on current digital trends, social media best practices, and emerging platforms relevant to music marketing and content creation.
- Strategy Assistance: Support the Content Management team by performing research to inform end-to-end content strategies for artist campaigns, focusing on platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Digital Housekeeping: Assist with digital housekeeping, including coordinating with the Content team to request and gather all necessary creative assets (graphics, short-form video, copy) and assisting with managing asset libraries / ad asset delivery.
- Content Creator Support: Assist the Senior Content Manager and Content Manager with administrative tasks related to sourcing and collaborating with external content creators and retainers.
- Pitch Asset Coordination: Coordinate and collate necessary assets and data required to pitch for platform support and resources from social partners (e.g., Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Snap).
Performance Tracking:
- Performance Tracking: Coordinate and track content performance using analytics tools, gathering data on key metrics for weekly and monthly reports.
- Data Competency: Eagerly learn about social media analytics and content performance tracking, supporting the team's ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Key Requirements:
- Content Obsessed: A natural understanding of internet culture and a genuine passion for creating and consuming content online, particularly short-form video.
- Experience: 1-3 years experience in a marketing, digital media, or content creation support role.
- Platform Native: Familiarity with major social media platforms and their content ecosystems, especially TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Creative Operator: Proven ability and enthusiasm for the day-to-day operational execution of content initiatives, including coordination, scheduling, and basic editing.
- Digital Interest: A strong interest in music and the digital landscape, including social media and content trends.
- Highly Proficient & Organized: Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and proficient with high standards for quality and efficiency, capable of managing concurrent tasks and outputs.
- Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Content Creation: Understanding of how to use basic in-app editing tools on TikTok, Instagram etc and some proficiency in editing tools including Premiere Pro, Photoshop or CapCut is desirable.
