We are located in the UK Shared Service Centre, supporting multiple group companies and stakeholders across various music labels and divisions.

Your Role

In this role you will gain hands‑on, practical experience working as part of a dynamic and supportive finance team. You will be immersed in the financial operations of a multitude of group companies, providing essential support to a wide range of stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist the management accounts team with month‑end work, including planning of bank reconciliations by coordinating with the accounts payable and receivable teams.
  • Post journals including accruals and prepayments, ensuring costs and income are recognised correctly, and explain variance between actual results and budget/forecast.
  • Complete balance‑sheet reconciliations to track accruals and prepayments on a monthly basis.
  • Support the Finance Manager in preparing departmental spend trackers showing actual spend to date and remaining available spend.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of external reporting requirements.
  • Code intercompany invoices and ensure they are processed correctly.
  • Take on ad‑hoc projects as requested.
  • Gain experience working in a SOX‑compliant business and understand how controls underpin finance processes and systems.
  • Be process‑driven and proactive, always willing to learn about new areas of the business.

About You

  • Good Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
  • Enthusiastic and keen to contribute to a large team.
  • Either completing a finance degree and seeking a placement year, or recently completed a finance degree.
