Your Role
This is a great opportunity to work with our Global Data Privacy Team to design, implement and monitor the delivery of key compliance activities. The work is fast-paced and aims to enhance our approach to privacy and data protection compliance.
Here You’ll Get To:
- Lead on the management and update of our GDPR Article 30 Records of Processing Activities and similar documentation for personal data processing activities.
- Create new records of processing activities for processing outside the EEA and the UK.
- Manage our DPIA and risk assessment process, including information collation, triaging processing activities that require assessment, and performing assessments as required.
- Perform Article 35 DPIAs where required.
- Manage and enhance our Data Subjects Rights process for EU, UK, US, and global jurisdictions, including maintaining the Data Subjects Rights Log and responding to data subjects.
- Identify areas for improvement in privacy accountability requirements and update our approach accordingly.
- Manage privacy and data protection policies and playbooks, including creating and updating policy documents and processes.
- Oversee the implementation of privacy policies and playbooks.
- Create and update privacy documents, templates, and internal policies, making changes as required.
- Collaborate with Corporate Communications to create privacy-led communications to WMG’s businesses.
- Manage the delivery of the Global Privacy and Data Protection Training Program and develop training materials as needed.
- Create and manage records of personal data incidents, collaborating with IT, information security, and affiliates.
- Be responsible for responding to personal data incidents.
- Arrange privacy committee meetings and prepare committee papers.
- Identify relevant privacy developments, conduct research, and update the Privacy Team on new data privacy developments.
- Support governance work, including risk escalation and the development of the global data privacy strategy.
About You
- Should have a privacy or data protection qualification. IAPP CIPM qualification in addition to one other would be preferable.
- Prior work in a DPO role or similar privacy compliance manager role would be preferable.
- Good understanding of GDPR, PECR, and awareness of other privacy and data protection requirements in the US and globally.
- Significant practical experience leading and delivering privacy and data protection compliance, ideally in a multinational organization.
- Skilled in identifying, analysing, managing and reporting on privacy risks and accountability requirements.
- Experience delivering successful privacy and data protection training.
- Experience administering privacy compliance technologies (e.g., OneTrust).
- Effective written and verbal communication with a wide range of partners; ability to explain data privacy issues to business teams.
- Able to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
- Experience liaising with Data Protection Authorities and managing registrations.
