Your New Role…

Working in the Content Distribution Engineering (CDE) team, the Technical Program Manager role bridges the gap between business, product, and technology by overseeing technical relationships with WBD’s internal and external content partners. You will serve as the liaison between our distribution partners and our internal engineering, product, and deal teams. You will lead integrations, review and analyse new partner specifications, and influence both our internal roadmap and the roadmap of our content partners.

WBD’s business is growing through the expansion of these content distribution partnerships. This role faces new challenges every day as we work to build the systems and processes that exchange huge amounts of content across companies and continents.

This role requires close collaboration with teams and partners distributed across the globe; therefore, being an excellent communicator with the ability to influence key decisions in meetings, documentation, and all communication mediums is vital to your success. The Content Partner Onboarding team has staff in the US, UK, and India to provide the best possible support to our content partners and our development teams around the world.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • You will work with our distribution partners to ensure that WBD’s interests are suitably prioritised on their development roadmap.

  • You will take ownership of shared processes, reports, and communication channels, and work with the team to continuously improve such tasks, and train others on improvements for shared success.

  • You will own the lifecycle of your onboarding programs, from scoping through delivery, and post-launch deliverables.

  • You will collaborate with internal product and engineering stakeholders to identify features and improvements that can be made to WBD’s non-linear supply chains to better support our third-party integrations.

  • You will autonomously act as a representative of our team and organisation in partner and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications and Experience…

  • At least 3 years of experience in Technical Account Management, Technical Program Management, or a comparable Engineering role

  • Exceptional customer relationship and account management skills, including the ability to influence key technology decisions and robustly defend WBD’s interests.

  • Proven communication skills showcased through effective verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities.

  • Experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary integrations and/or product deliveries involving multiple internal and external teams.

  • Comprehensive understanding of the current global VOD ecosystem, industry standards and best practices

  • Experience working with Telcos, Broadcasters and Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) platforms in the non-linear distribution space.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across time zones and with international teams from a variety of countries and backgrounds.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.

  • Ability to align teams to maintain program progress statuses with a high level of accuracy.

  • Experience in process creation, lean management, and continuous process improvement, with consistent utilisation of AI tools to improve communications and processes.
