Your New Role…

WBD is a global content business, at WBD Sports our goal is to create engaging and entertaining sports content across multiple platforms that connects with sports fans across our markets and globally. As a member of the WBD Sports Europe team, you will be working across our cycling portfolio, focusing on the racing highlights content for our global presence. This post holder will be required to produce, edit and reversion repeats, highlights, inserts and other short formats and perform quality control and compliance checks to ensure content is TX ready.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Produce, edit and reversion various content for use on-air or on our digital platforms/sites. Including sport event repeats, highlights or other short-form content as required.

  • Working with the Live Event feed, packaging it as a reversion then delivering to TX for broadcast.

  • At times, the Producer Editor may be called on to make fast turnaround edits at short notice.

  • Ensure all content is of the highest quality and aligned with WBD Sports broadcast strategy.

  • Maintain and develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing WBD Sports. Working closely with Production teams, as well as Content Compliance teams.

Qualifications & Experience…

  • Understanding of the sports television business, subscription television and sports streaming platforms.

  • Professional editing experience.

  • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects.

  • Knowledge of EVS & IPD an advantage.

  • Proven self-starter, able to manage their time and workload effectively.

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

  • Experience in a sports / live broadcast environment an advantage.

  • Knowledge of Pan-Europe Compliance rules and regulations an advantage (e.g. from Ofcom or CSA).

Hybrid Working – This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
