The HBO Streaming PR Apprentice will support the International Publicity team on the facilitation of international press opportunities across HBO & HBO Max’s slate of content to maximise global impact and reach.

Responsibilities

  • This role will assist with organising and delivering press junkets, talent tours, screening events, festivals, photoshoots and press trips.
  • Daily monitoring of content news and current industry trends.
  • Helping collate and log international press coverage generated by the team for reporting.
  • Work with international broadcasters across HBO & Max show content to collate airdates, log requests and note key activity dates in-market.
  • Assisting in the research, development and implementation of show communication plans.
  • Collating meeting notes and distributing across the team after important calls.
  • Maintaining internal databases and trackers such as the team calendar by inputting dates of key press activities, festivals and awards ceremonies.
  • Assistance with distribution of updates and assets such as stills, screeners and alerts to key international stakeholders.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries for talent and senior team members as required.
  • Carrying out other day-to-day admin tasks including meeting scheduling, finance support, tracking and reporting to support the department.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Our apprenticeship positions are designed to be an alternative to university education; applications from people who have not yet graduated from university with a degree are sought.
  • Administrative skills and proficiency in Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Professionalism and the ability to use discretion around high profile individuals.
  • Well organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Able to communicate with people at all levels in a professional and mature manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous work / office experience beneficial.

The Apprenticeship

  • Start Date: September 2026.
  • End Date: March 2028.
  • Salary: £25,650 p/a.
  • 25 days annual leave.
  • Qualification: Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
  • You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects.
  • You will have access to personal and professional development courses, executive speakers’ series, special screenings and more.
  • You will be part of our Early Talent network of over 100 interns & apprentices.

Hybrid Working – This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
