We’re looking for 2 Communications Placement Interns to join our Corporate Communications and Internal Communications teams for a 12‑month placement year. In these roles, you’ll gain hands‑on experience across internal and external communications, supporting employee engagement across EMEA and building our reputation in the UK & Ireland. You’ll work closely with communications professionals to deliver campaigns, events, content, and tools that inform, engage, and inspire audiences. This placement offers a unique opportunity to see how our communications teams support a fast‑paced global business while developing practical skills for a future career in communications, media or related fields.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Internal Communications
- Supporting the planning and delivery of internal communications campaigns, announcements and engagement activity across EMEA
- Helping manage internal channels and tools such as employee newsletters, emails and internal platforms
- Assisting with the creation and editing of internal editorial content
- Supporting the delivery of internal events such as town halls, leadership briefings and staff engagement sessions
- Helping coordinate information flow across teams to ensure colleagues are informed and aligned
- Supporting the Corporate Communications team with day‑to‑day activity across the UK & Ireland
- Assisting with media and industry news monitoring and coverage tracking
- Helping draft and prepare communications materials such as briefing documents, statements and reports
- Supporting communications planning tools, including announcement schedules, campaign trackers and event calendars
- Assisting with the coordination of events, launches and external campaigns
- Supporting the press office with organizing requests, distribution lists and media trackers
- Building positive working relationships with internal stakeholders across the business
- Supporting senior team members with meeting preparation, research and coordination
- Helping ensure clear communication between internal and external communications teams
Qualifications & Experience...
- You must be a current University student in your 2nd year of study, looking to spend your 3rd year on placement and graduating no earlier than July 2028.
- Genuine interest in communications, media, public relations or related disciplines.
- Curious about how businesses communicate with employees, partners and the media.
- Well organised, reliable and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
- A strong written and verbal communicator.
- A team player who’s happy to support where needed.
- Trustworthy and able to handle confidential or sensitive information appropriately.

Hybrid Working
