It\’s a beautiful, coastal, 202-bedroom chalet village with a theatre, purpose-built leisure facilities, a restaurant, and award-winning gardens that feature beautiful views of the Solent. It\’s close to the port of Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef to join us at Warner Hotels.

What will I be doing?

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring all stations are properly organised and prepared for service.
  • Supervising and training junior chefs, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Ensuring food safety standards are always adhered to, including proper storage, handling, and cooking techniques.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and managing food costs to meet financial targets.
  • Supporting the Head Chef in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and responding to guest feedback

  • A Sous Chef who understands the importance of working in a branded environment.
  • You will have the ability to create a culture of support and actively encourages teamwork.
  • Willingness to challenge if standards aren\’t meeting required levels.

What skills do I need?

  • Understands the important of working with a branded menu.
  • Experience of managing orders, food stocks and forecast against occupancy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and can adapt quickly to changing requirements.
  • Good financial knowledge with the ability to manage costs in line with the department\’s budget.
