Overview
Join our team at Bodelwyddan Castle, part of the Warner Hotels Group.
This Grade II listed Victorian building near the North Wales Coast houses a modern 238‑bedroom hotel with a superb range of leisure facilities and numerous daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Grounds Manager and contribute to the smooth running of the guest journey from the moment each guest arrives.
- Work independently to care for the maintenance of gardens, grounds and facilities surrounding the hotel, ensuring they are showcased to their best in all seasons.
- Use and maintain a range of equipment, including loose hand tools, strimmers, mowers and ride‑on equipment.
- Perform all aspects of gardening work, including digging, planting, mowing and basic tree care.
- Be guest‑focused, always having a positive and problem‑solving attitude.
- Put the guest journey at the heart of everything you do.
- Show willingness to learn and improve knowledge on cleanliness, hygiene and our standards.
- Care about the wider team and look to support wherever needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a gardener will help but is not essential.
The key qualification is a willingness to learn about gardening covering a large area of ground.
Pay rate: up to £12.21 per hour depending on age.
